Mr. Guidry is a national director for BDO USA P.C., a U.S. member firm of BDO International, a global accounting firm based in Chicago. Joining his firm in 2022, he leverages more than a decade of experience as a certified public accountant to serve its BDOADVANTAGE User Enablement group, where he helps to design, implement, and drive adoption of technology-enabled audit solutions. Mr. Guidry oversees a team in the U.S. and abroad in India, who collectively manage a portfolio of products in development, from design through deployment. He is also heavily engaged in establishing strategies and deciphering what the needs are in the field to determine what products and solutions to design and develop.
Before joining his firm, Mr. Guidry was affiliated with KPMG US as an audit senior manager between 2010 and 2019, as a senior associate U.S. rotational at the firm’s Global Delivery Center from 2014 to 2015, and as a director between 2019 and 2022. During his tenure, he was fortunate to take advantage of a rotation opportunity at KPMG’s Global Delivery Center in India. Having spent 13 months in Bangalore, Mr. Guidry was influential in helping reshape key processes at their offshore center. He was also able to transition away from client-facing work and begin learning operations, which played a critical role in his career growth.

Involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Mr. Guidry serves as BDO’s Chicago Pride Alliance leader. Through BDO, he also works with the local community, participating in volunteer clean-ups and other events. Among other civic-related activities, Mr. Guidry is active with LGBTQ+ charities in Chicago, including participating in back-to-school drives for underprivileged youth. Mr. Guidry previously served as the local office DEI council chair and a member of the National Pride @ KPMG network and was the board treasurer for Amis du Lycee Francais de la Nouvelle-Orleans.
Mr. Guidry graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting in 2009 and 2010, respectively. During his studies, he completed an internal audit internship with Lockheed Martin in 2009, was a graduate assistant at LSU from 2009 to 2010 and completed a second internal audit internship with Turner Industries in 2010. Mr. Guidry also holds credentials as a certified public accountant. Adding to his expertise, he is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
