Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, he held the position of senior sales director at Alto Pharmacy in San Francisco, overseeing multiple therapeutic areas, including cardiology and endocrinology. His leadership prowess was further demonstrated during his tenure as COPD business unit director at Circassia USA from 2016 to 2020, where he managed pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
From 2013 to 2016, Mr. Casey served as executive national sales director at Crown Laboratories Inc., focusing on dermatology. His expertise in market access was honed during his time as national sales director at Merz North America from 2010 to 2013. Earlier roles include vice president of sales at Perricone MD from 2008 to 2009 and vice president of U.S. sales at Dermalogica from 2007 to 2008. His foundational years in leadership began with Sunovion Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2007, where he excelled as senior regional sales director.
Mr. Casey’s educational background laid a strong foundation for his career achievements. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Quinnipiac University in 1990. Further enhancing his leadership skills, he completed an executive program titled “The Leadership Journey: Creating and Developing Your Leadership” at The Wharton School in 2007 and pursued continuing professional education on “The Health Care Environment” at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 1996. Similarly, he furthered his leadership expertise through seminars at AstraZeneca and Sepracor. He attributes his success to the guidance of mentors and leaders who have opened doors for him throughout his career.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Casey is actively involved in civic organizations. He volunteers at Camp Pendleton during Thanksgiving through his church in Irvine, California. His dedication to excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including Regional Director of the Year at Sepracor Pharmaceuticals Inc., Director of the Year at Circassia, and multiple President’s Club accolades. Notably, he was inducted into his high school baseball hall of fame.
Born in Syracuse, Mr. Casey cherishes spending time with his family and enjoys playing softball and golf.
