She also made notable contributions as chief of tax for unemployment insurance at the Georgia Department of Labor. Throughout her career, Ms. Baker-Boykin has been recognized for her expertise in law and coaching, earning respect and admiration from peers across multiple industries.

Ms. Baker-Boykin’s academic background has significantly contributed to her professional success. She received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Columbus State University in 1981, followed by earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1984. Ms. Baker-Boykin has been a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia for over four decades. Her passion for lifelong learning and desire to help others have been pivotal in her journey towards becoming a respected figure in her field. This drive was ignited during her time as a law clerk in Columbus, Georgia, and a law clerk in Athens, Georgia, where she discovered her love for arguing cases and making a difference in people’s lives.
