She has served as director of structuring and transaction management at Bank of America – Global Leasing since 1994, establishing herself as a subject matter expert in a highly specialized and critical product within a complex banking environment. Her resilience and adaptability through numerous mergers and acquisitions involving institutions have solidified her reputation as a trusted authority within the financial sector.
Beyond her tenure at Bank of America, Ms. Delen expanded her expertise through entrepreneurial ventures as a partner at AcuGlobal Endeavors LLC and as an investor in the entertainment and food industries. Her ability to navigate complex organizational structures underscores her status as a highly respected and influential figure in the industry, placing her at the forefront of her field.
Ms. Delen earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with concentrations in international studies, diplomacy and political science from the University of the Philippines (UP). She also completed coursework toward a Master of Business Administration at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and in continuing education at the University of California Berkeley Extension. This strong academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping her extensive and successful career.
Ms. Delen’s accomplishments have been acknowledged through several prestigious awards, including recognition from the Filipina Women’s Network (FWN) as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the United States in 2017, following her 2013 designation as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World. She was honored with a Presidential Citation from Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in 2010 and named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of San Francisco by Women We Admire in 2022. In 2023, she received the Gawad Oblation Award from the University of the Philippines.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Delen is a published author and has contributed to FWN and PinayPowerhouse books on leadership. She has also served as an executive producer of several notable films, including “The Road to Sydney,” released in 2025, and “Harana: The Art of Serenade,” released in 2010, among others.
Her commitment to industry leadership and advocacy extends to her involvement with several esteemed organizations, including The Institute of Directors in London, United Success Global, the Filipina Women’s Network and the University of the Philippines Alumni Association of San Francisco. She also made history as the first Filipina American and Asian American non-lawyer to become a public member of the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California.
Equally devoted to civic engagement, Ms. Delen co-founded the Filipino Food Movement, a pivotal initiative aimed at preserving, promoting and progressing Filipino cuisine on a global scale. She has led critical initiatives such as the Apl.de.ap Foundation International’s campaign to combat preventable blindness caused by retinopathy of prematurity among premature babies in the Philippines. During the pandemic, she facilitated the donation of COVID-19 testing kits, collectively valued at $2.85 million, to the UP-Philippine General Hospital through a partnership with UPAASF and Apl.de.ap Foundation International.
