In his present role, he maintains responsibility for developing and leading the SAP team, leveraging program management and cross-functional architect skills to influence executive decision-making. Among his many career achievements, Mr. Narayan is especially proud of inheriting and transforming a complex project during his tenure with LTIMindtree Limited. In this regard, he assumed ownership of a struggling implementation from another integrator and subsequently built a high-performing team of 15 offshore and 10 on-site members to see the project to fruition. Moreover, Mr. Narayan introduced best practices to SAP, resulting in process redefinition and a cost reduction of up to $1 billion. In 2024, he earned three Spot Awards from LTIMindtree. He attributes his longstanding success to overcoming setbacks that were stepping stones to the prominent position he is recognized in today.
Mr. Narayan’s journey in the industry began with Crescent Polymers India Pvt. Ltd. in 2001, remaining there until 2004. Thereafter, he briefly worked for MAFOI Management Consultants Ltd. from April to August 2004. Following this tenure, he served with Johnson Diversey Ltd. from 2004 to 2005, Capgemini Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. from 2005 to 2007, and Accenture Computer Services Ltd. from September to November 2007. While with Capgemini, Mr. Narayan earned the Project Star Award. He also worked for Tech Mahindra (formerly known as Satyam Computers Ltd.) from 2008 to 2009 and Sony India Software Center Pvt. Ltd. from 2009 to 2011.
Subsequently, Mr. Narayan served as a consulting manager at Wipro Technologies Limited between 2011 and 2015. During this time, he was awarded the Best Project Manager Award for exceptional leadership and project management skills. From 2015 to 2016, he was a senior SAP SD consultant at YASH Technologies Inc. His contributions to the company were marked by his delivery of innovative solutions and enhanced client satisfaction, having participated in project planning, risk assessment and risk mitigation. In late 2016, he joined Agasti LLC as a senior SAP consultant and solution architect. His tenure there was brief but impactful, as he played a pivotal role in designing and implementing effective SAP solutions until his departure from the company in early 2017.
From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Narayan was an SAP consultant and solution architect at GlobalPoint Inc., where he collaborated with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency. Subsequently, he was with Dart Container Corporation as a senior ERP analyst from 2019 to 2021, contributing significantly to the company’s enterprise resource planning initiatives. During his tenure, he worked jointly with customized developments and conducted periodic system reviews to find potential defects and recommend corrective actions and process improvements, among many other responsibilities.
Mr. Narayan’s dedication to excellence is evidenced by his memberships in prestigious organizations such as the Association of Enterprise Architects, the Forbes Technical Council and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Notably, he was featured in a scholarly article published on Forbes.com concerning AI bias and strategies in 2025, having also authored such articles as “Cigna’s Market Position and Growth Strategy in the Health Insurance Industry” and “A Comparative Financial and Performance Analysis of Nvidia and Intel: Key Metrics, Trends, and Investment Insights,” both in the International Journal of Science and Research in 2025.
Mr. Narayan’s academic background includes a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute in Herndon, Virginia, in 2023, with honors as a Welch Scholar, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, first class with distinction, from the RV College Of Engineering in Bangalore, India, in 2001. Additionally, he holds a certification in SAP to keep him upgraded in the technology space from the SAP Academy and emotional intelligence in leadership from the Coursera Instructor Network, obtained in 2025.
In his personal life, Mr. Narayan enjoys spending time with his spouse, Shilpa, and their two daughters. He finds solace in nature through hiking and reading and is an avid cricket player. Civically engaged, he has also been a secretary for the Greater Lansing Kannada Sangha (GLKS), a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 that promotes the Kannada language, traditions and culture within the Greater Lansing, Michigan, area. During his membership with the nonprofit organization, Mr. Narayan has connected with like-minded individuals who share his passion for Kannada traditions, participating in events such as workshops and social activities to enrich his cultural experience.
Looking ahead, Mr. Narayan aims to establish his own consulting business or develop projects that will allow him to mentor school students. He is dedicated to giving back to the community through financial support and providing valuable guidance and mentorship.
