Before becoming head of sales at LSEG, Mr. Zodda was the director of sales and business development for the investment banking, corporates, and academic sectors at Refinitiv, an LSEG business, from 2020 to 2022. Between 2017 and 2020, he was the market development director for the investment and advisory division in the Americas at Refinitiv & Thomson Reuters.
Mr. Zodda’s career began at Thomson Reuters (formerly Thomson Financial), where he held various positions from 2006 to 2019. He started as a client support executive in investment banking before progressing to team lead for client support. He then became a product specialist focusing on investment banking accounts and later transitioned to a client specialist role for global accounts. Mr. Zodda’s expertise in sales hit full stride as a sales specialist in banking and research from 2013 to 2017 before becoming director of market development.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Zodda received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in accounting from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, in 2006.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Zodda is actively involved in civic-minded organizations. He has participated in the Tough Mudder event four times, benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Additionally, Mr. Zodda donates to various initiatives throughout the year, including a memorial fund honoring a close friend who recently passed away. His philanthropic efforts extend to responding to donation requests from relatives and friends for causes that resonate with him.
