She also leveraged her deep expertise in advisory and consulting roles, health care administration/facilitation, mentored software professionals, successfully managed software delivery, excelled in managing strategic technical programs, defined scalable solution architectures, and built performant design and software(s). In addition to these leadership roles, Ms. Patil has ventured into the healthcare field as a senior advisor and medical facilitator at a global recovery homes firm.
In her current positions, Ms. Patil relies on experience gained in a series of key professional roles, including IT grid solutions delivery manager at Southern California Edison from 2023 to 2024. In 2022, she accepted the title of principal for Enterprise Applications and also served as Technology Solutions Manager at Infosys, which acknowledged her efforts with the MVP Award in 2023. Notably, Ms. Patil’s productive tenure at Infosys also included roles such as technical project manager, techno-functional lead/consultant and senior technology architect from 2015 to 2022 in Los Angeles and as a technology project manager and technology architect in Pune, India, from 2011 to 2015.
Ms. Patil initiated her professional journey as a trainee software engineer as a campus recruit with Harbinger Systems in 2004 before advancing to the ranks of software engineer and senior software engineer through 2006. She then joined Infosys and progressed as programmer analyst and technology lead from 2007 to 2011 while working in India/ USA. Throughout her career and across diverse platforms, Ms. Patil has been recognized for her contributions with accolades such as the Technology Rising Star award by Woman of Color org. and a feature in Woman of Color Magazine. Her key contributions include building a performant search engine for LexisNexis, delivering a highly scalable data processing platform for Southern California Edison and accepting several accolades, such as the Women Achiever Award at the global level and recognition as a Tech Pathfinder by Infosys Limited in 2022. She also earned the Infosys Technology Champion Award in light of her prowess in information technology.
Driven by resilience, positivity and a deep commitment to higher education, Ms. Patil fought with life-threatening Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS) at the age of 16 and was prompted to pursue academic excellence while recovering. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in information technology from Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune, which she completed in 2004, and in 2023 she completed an Executive Master of Business Administration in business, management and leadership from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, Washington, D.C., where she humbly accepted an academic scholarship. Ms. Patil attributes her success thus far to the positive influence and support of mentors, including Vikas Joshi, the chief executive officer of Harbinger Group; Jyotsna Kulkarni, her first professional manager, and Suhas Joshi, her first enterprise architect and mentor. She also credits the support of such figures as Rashmi Priyadarshi, her first manager at Infosys, Gnanapriya C., AVP, unit technology officer at Infosys, Azadeh Tadayon, her first client at Southern California Edison, Jeff Gooding, her sponsor and mentor from Southern California Edison, and her close and extended family.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Patil remains actively committed to civic engagement. She volunteers at City of Hope by supporting the administration of the Supportive Care Medicine department, contributes to Arcadia Unified School District by being a member of the Career Technology Education Advisory Board and serves as a STEM education mentor with Infosys Foundation USA. Additionally, her dedication to service extends to local initiatives, where she contributes her time and expertise. Her personal life is centered around her family comprised of a supportive better half, Premanand and cheerleader/motivator, her daughter, Sameeka, who is preparing to enroll in college. Looking toward the future, Ms. Patil plans to responsibly scale her business upon completing the initial setup while carefully managing her workload to prioritize time with extended family that includes her sibling/cousins/in-laws. She specifically cites her father, Prof. S.R. Patil, and her caring mother, Kalpana, as the reason for her true existence.
