Before her most recent position, she was the energy and environmental policy director at OGE Energy Corp. from 2012 to 2022. Ms. Turner’s tenure at OGE Energy Corp. was marked by her ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and advocate for sustainable practices within the company.

From 2001 to 2012, Ms. Turner was the director of environmental affairs and asset expansion at Luminant, TXU Power. For over a decade, she oversaw environmental compliance and led initiatives to expand the company’s assets while ensuring adherence to environmental regulations. Ms. Turner’s early career began as an associate engineer in air quality and compliance at TXU Electric between 1999 and 2001, where she gained foundational experience in environmental engineering.

Ms. Turner’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in environmental engineering from Texas AandM University. Her education has been instrumental in her professional success, providing her with the technical expertise and analytical skills necessary for her various roles in the energy sector.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Turner is actively involved in several industry-related organizations. She is a member of the Arkansas Environmental Federation, serves on the board of directors for the Environmental Federation of Oklahoma, is active on the board of the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma and the Texas Oil and Gas Association, and is a member of the Air and Waste Management Association and Leadership Oklahoma. These affiliations reflect Ms. Turner’s commitment to advancing environmental standards within the industry.

Apart from her work-related ventures, Ms. Turner’s civic involvement has included membership on the board and the executive committee for Allied Arts OKC and on the board of the Oklahoma Nature Conservancy. Additionally, she has been instrumental as a board member of the graduate student program at Oklahoma State University and was previously active on the boards of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits and Red Earth Inc. Ms. Turner’s volunteer work includes participation with Junior Achievement of Oklahoma and fundraising efforts for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.

In light of her success, Ms. Turner was named Woman of the Year by IR Magazine in 2023, an accolade that underscores her influence and leadership within the energy sector. Her career is characterized by dedication to fostering professional growth among her colleagues.
