Before establishing her practice, Ms. Matic was a crisis intake therapy specialist at The Guidance Center in Flagstaff, Arizona, from 2014 to 2017. During this time, she worked in the crisis department and was pivotal in providing counseling services to the Havasupai tribe at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. This enriching experience involved taking a helicopter down to the tribe, where Ms. Matic spent about a week each visit to work with the tribespeople.

Ms. Matic also found success as a children’s and young adult coordinator and therapist at the Community Counseling Center in Holbrook, Arizona, between 2008 and 2013. In this capacity, she provided essential support and therapy to young individuals, families, and adults helping them navigate various challenges of recovering from severe trauma, abuse, substance dependence or mental illness and fostering their mental well-being.

Ms. Matic’s career began with a strong foundation in clinical psychology. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Cleveland State University, a Bachelor of Arts in metaphysics from the University of Sedona, and a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from Cleveland State University in 1987. These academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her approach to integrating spirituality into her counseling practice. Ms. Matic’s dedication to holistic healing is further evidenced by her certifications as a Pranic healer, a no-touch therapy that uses life force to heal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual problems.

In addition to her primary career objectives, Ms. Matic is an active member of the American Psychological Association, reflecting her commitment to staying connected with industry developments and best practices. She is also deeply involved in civic-minded organizations. Since 2014, Ms. Matic has supported human trafficking initiatives and actively participated in a local Tibet organization.
