Prior to UBC, he was the senior vice president at Biofourmis, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s strategic initiatives and prior to that, vice president of specialty pharmaceutical solutions at Cardinal Health, where he focused on real-world evidence and regulatory sciences. His leadership as chief commercial officer at DMD, an IQVIA Business, saw him steering pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors toward growth.
Previously, Mr. Luttenberger held the position of chief commercial officer at Predictive Bioinformatics Inc., where he was instrumental in cutting-edge life sciences advancements developing the ability to predict, correlate and detect the early onset of disease in sufficient time to minimize or eliminate suffering and premature death. His earlier roles included vice president of life sciences at Optum Inc., senior vice president at Allscripts, and vice president of sales and business development at IQVIA, as well as sales leadership and executive positions at Symphony Health (formerly NDC Health), Pfizer Inc., and IBM.
Academically, Mr. Luttenberger earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in business management from Kean University. In addition to his education, he attributes his accomplishments to unwavering concentration, dedication, perseverance, and an inherent curiosity about systems and human interactions. He also credits the invaluable support of mentors and coaches, including Gary Stine and Thomas Hegelund, Joe DePinto and Eli Phillips Jr.
Even beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Luttenberger is known as a person of action, not just words. He is actively involved in animal rescue organizations, reflecting his commitment to civic-minded causes. In his free time, he enjoys reading, music, (notably an accomplished bass player), long-distance motorcycling, traveling, and learning about different cultures. Born in Bronx, New York, he draws inspiration from his father’s dedication as a plumber who commuted to Manhattan for 47 years without any recollection of missing a day of work learning the value of “showing up” and “measuring twice and cutting once”.
