Ms. Synnott is recognized for her leadership and expertise as an adult nurse practitioner at NorthShore University Hospital (NSUH), helping patients live as comfortably as possible in their final hours. An expert in her field for over 25 years, she strives to serve as a patient advocate and ensure they all receive the highest quality of care, coupled with compassion and integrity. Additionally, Ms. Synnott mentions her service in the military as paramount to her professional achievements.

Dedicated to her country, Ms. Synnott honorably served in the U.S. Army Reserves, a decision inspired by her grandfather, who had served in the military for four years and fought in World War II. Ms. Synnott graduated with a Bachelor of Science in registered nursing from the State University of New York in Binghamton in 1985 and a Master of Science in adult nurse practitioner from Stony Brook University in 1993.
