Mary J. Aloia-Dombrowski, LSW, has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry

    PLAINFIELD, NJ, February 12, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Mary J. Aloia-Dombrowski, LSW, has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Leveraging more than three decades of excellence in social work, Ms. Aloia-Dombrowski has earned distinction as a hospice social worker for Hackensack Meridian Health Hospice, formerly JFK Haven Hospice. Since 2010, she has focused her efforts on meeting with patients and their families to discuss hospice and provide information on their available options. Additionally, she is a valued member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Before her present role, Ms. Aloia-Dombrowski began her career as an oncology social worker with the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in 1988 and became a palliative care social worker for Haven Hospice and Palliative Care at JFK Health in 2008. She has also led a successful support group for patients with cancer and their families, providing them with essential support, counseling, and education. Among her professional accomplishments, she has been named Employee of the Month. She also was recognized as Social Worker of the Year by the Union County ACS Rotary Club in 1997 and received a Healthcare Hero Award through Hackensack Meridian Health Network in 2022.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Aloia-Dombrowski earned a bachelor’s degree in clinical and medical social work from Stockton University in 1986. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Social work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 1988. Well-qualified in her field, she is a licensed social worker and has a keen ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Within the coming years, Ms. Aloia-Dombrowski intends to continue her work as a hospice intake consultant for patients who are eligible for hospice services. She is proud to be able to provide comprehensive support, counseling and resources for her patients and is confident in her ability to help patients and their families understand all the options and make the best decisions possible.
