Over the years, Ms. Walsh worked in various industries, and served as Vice President of Public Policy Partners, Director of Government Relations for ML Strategies, LLC, and as a summer legal clerk for Regan & Associates.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Walsh gained valuable expertise in law, marketing, and management with SmartForce, Cassidy & Associates, and Sybase. An expert in her field, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History from James Madison University. Subsequently, she received a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Walsh also gives her time and talent to her undergraduate institution, James Madison University, serving twice in the capacity as President of the Alumni Board for College of Arts and Letters.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Walsh takes the most pride in being featured in the February 2024 edition of the James Madison Arts and Letters Publication and earning the Herselle Milliken Precinct Captain of the Year Award through the Arlington Democrats. Likewise, she is honored to have contributed to the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which included expanding the investment tax credit to include biogas properties, setting up a fund for underserved technologies, and extending several tax credits for the renewable energy industry. The cornerstone of her success lies in her steadfast determination and hard work, as well as her parents, both of whom served in the Navy and stressed to her the importance of education. In the coming years, Ms. Walsh intends to expand her firm’s size fivefold and reach $100 million in revenue. Ultimately, she aims to focus on her passion for art and art history while living in Italy.
