Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at NutraPak USA, an Icelandirect LLC company, since 2024, Mr. Leonte is a leading figure in the dietary supplements and food nutrition industry. With extensive experience and a proven track record of leadership, he oversees a team of four professionals, managing the sales department and identifying new opportunities for growth. His efforts have played a key role in establishing NutraPak USA’s strong presence in North America.
In addition to his role at NutraPak USA, Mr. Leonte has made significant contributions to Icelandirect, the parent company. As Director of Business Development, he was instrumental in helping transition the company from outsourcing to establishing a fully operational manufacturing facility in the U.S., marking a major milestone in its growth. Prior to this, he served as a Sales Manager (2021-2024) and Commercial Manager (2021-2022), where he further honed his skills in sales operations and strategic partnerships.
Mr. Leonte began his career with DSM, the world’s largest vitamin manufacturer, where he held various roles, including Distributor Manager for HNH North America (2020-2021) and Account Manager (2018-2020). He began at DSM as a Customer Solutions Specialist and Sales Specialist (2015-2017). During his tenure, he received the Rising Star Award and was nominated for Junior Who’s Who, recognizing his potential and contributions to the industry.
Mr. Leonte holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Anatomy and Physiology from Fairleigh Dickinson University (2015) and a Master of Business Administration from the same institution (2019). He attributes his success to his dedication, continuous learning, and the mentorship he has received throughout his career.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Leonte is committed to giving back to the community, contributing as a donor to the American Heart Association. Looking to the future, he intends to expand his family while continuing to make meaningful contributions to the dietary supplements and food nutrition industry.
