LOS ANGELES, CA, December 28, 2022 – Nigerian-American stand-up comedian and actor Sey Brown brings hilarious comedy to Los Angeles fans with his comedy show Culture Shock at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, hosted by the legendary Nollywood actor. Richard Mofe-Damijo. Brown is one of Nigeria’s most successful stand-up comedians, performing to packed audiences across the country. In 2017, Brown undertook a five-city comedy tour in Atlanta, Washington DC, New York City, Chicago and Seattle. In 2019, he was in Los Angeles filming a comedy special titled Nigerian American, which will be featured and streamed on Netflix Africa.

This year’s tour made stops in cities such as Houston, Washington, Maryland, Virginia, Los Angeles and Dallas. Brown’s Los Angeles show featured six hysterically funny stand-up comedians delivering punch lines that got the crowd laughing as loudly as possible. Featured comedians included Sey Brown, HelenPaul, skillz, Trixx, Tiani Bibischand Jedi Ayoola featuring performances by Grammy-nominated artists Meakusaxophonist Shola Iyiolarecording artist Isaac Geraldsrecording artist Hamedand Afrobeat group YDN.

The event kicked off with a red carpet endorsed by local celebrities including Bayo Akinfemi (CBS “Bob Hearts Abishola”), Razaaq Adoti (Resident Evil: Apocalypse Screen Gems), Amarachi Odinma (BET “After Happily Ever After”) and many others.
