English, Esq. celebrates many years’ experience in his professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. A seasoned attorney and educator with years of experience in various areas of law, Mr. English excels as a partner with Dines and English LLC, where he specializes in sports law, commercial litigation, and education law. Previously, he honed his legal expertise as an associate with Lordi, Imperial, and Dines. Over the years, he has shared his extensive knowledge with others, teaching First Amendment law, future studies and literature, and New Jersey practice as an adjunct faculty member with the Rutgers School of Law and Drake University, where he started his professional career as a teaching assistant in 1973.

Throughout his career, Mr. English has authored numerous articles discussing boxing, law, drug testing for human growth hormone, and more through publications such as The Journal of Sports Law, the Proceedings of the American Air Pollution Association, Rutgers Law Record, and New Jersey Lawyer. Additionally, due to his vast knowledge, he has given many conference presentations.

Before establishing himself professionally, Mr. English earned a bachelor’s degree from Drake University. Subsequently, he expanded his knowledge by completing a JD at the Rutgers School of Law Newark. Given his professional accomplishments, Mr. English won the Alumni Prize for being the most likely to make lasting contributions to the legal profession through Rutgers University, The Association of Boxing Commission Circle of Honor, and numerous other awards. His career has been filled with highlights, but he takes the most pride in working on a case involving DNA testing, a new technology at the time. A man passed away, leaving behind two children. Another standout moment in Mr. English’s career was playing a vital role in helping develop the Professional Boxing Safety Act, and the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act, significantly impacting the legal landscape in boxing law.

Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. English credits his success to his late mentors, John Payne, whom he met in law school, and Aaron Dines, his business partner and a prominent New Jersey attorney. His unwavering dedication to his work is a testament to his character. Looking ahead, Mr. English intends to experience his career’s continued growth and success, inspiring respect and appreciation from his peers.
