Over the years, Mr. Berry has succeeded as a human resources executive for Colgate Palmolive, through which he developed programs, policies, and training to attract and retain a diverse workforce and led human resources functions for all of Western Europe, Central Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. During the early stages of his career, he gained valuable expertise in similar management positions with the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, Digital Equipment Corporation, IBM, and Procter and Gamble. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, Mr. Berry authored “Being Better Than You Believe: 8 Steps to Ultimate Success.”

An expert in his field, Mr. Berry holds an Associate of Arts in marketing from Manhattan Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Queens College, a Master of Science in behavior science, social work, and organizational and administration development from Columbia University, and an MBA in marketing and management from Xavier University’s Williams College of Business. He also received several certifications through Aperian, the New York State Economic Development Council, the International Coaching Federation, the Management Research Group, and Hogan Assessments throughout his career. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Berry aligns himself with the American Society for Training and Development and the African American Human Resources Association.

In light of his professional achievements, Mr. Berry was featured in Millennium Magazine and received an Outstanding Community Development Award from New York State. Likewise, he earned the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his tenure with Colgate Palmolive, through which he lived in over 60 countries worldwide.
