During this period, she redefined the role of social media, collaborating with departments across the organization. She pioneered programs that harnessed employees’ expertise to elevate the brand, strengthening social selling and employee engagement strategies. Throughout her tenure, she served as director of external communications from 2022 to 2024, director of social media in 2022, and fractional social media director in 2021.
Prior to her time at Clarivate, Ms. Shah developed her public relations and strategic communications skills at Edelman, FleishmanHillard, and boutique marketing and communications agencies. Initially focused on the hospitality industry, she has represented renowned chefs and restaurants before transitioning to work with diverse companies, from global corporations to growth-stage startups, specializing in technology, healthcare, SaaS, consumer packaged goods, and hospitality industries.
Ms. Shah earned her Master of Liberal Arts from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in journalism and communications from Iowa State University. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communications (IABC), where she co-leads the consultants special interest group for the Colorado Chapter, and the ColorComm Network. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and on the Women in Leadership Council with the Workplace Institute.
