Before embarking on his career journey Mr. Stanford served as an operations specialist in the United States Navy between 1987 and 1995, laying the foundation for his leadership skills and ability to manage complex operations. Following his military service, he transitioned into the telecommunication industry, where he served as the data specialist at XO Communications LLC (formally Allegiance Telecom, ALGX) from 2000 to 2005 and as the Data Specialist there from 2004 until 2005.
During his time at XO Communications Mr. Stanford played a pivotal role in developing competitive local exchange carrier systems that significantly enhance customer satisfaction and market presence. Notably, his employment with the U.S. Federal Government facilitated significant progress in cloud migration and information management for The Microsoft Support Services Contract for the Social Security Administration.
In addition to completing coursework at Rubidoux High school in 1987 Mr. Stanford furthered his technical knowledge by obtaining a certificate an electronic theory, computers and telecommunication from TESST college of technology in 1999( Now Brightwood College) his willingness to embrace failure as a steppingstone for growth has been instrumental in his success particularly during his time leading others through the U.S. Navy.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Stanford is actively involved in several civic organizations. He has been a member of Ride Across Maryland supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure of breast cancer in 2012, The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride that supports men’s health research. He served as a coordinator for Financial Peace University from 2014 to 2020 at Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium, Maryland where he also served as a table leader for the men’s ministry and a security officer during church services. His volunteer work exemplifies his commitment to community service.
Mr. Stanford is also an accomplished author having been published articles such as “Stop Your Stinkin’ Thinkin'” and “Learn the Process of Promise and Possibility” on EzineArticles in 2010. His military service awards reflect his dedication that he has exemplified throughout his career.
