Ron Lawrence channels years of expertise into his work with Summit View Health Management

Backed by years of professional experience in business, Mr. Lawrence excels as the president of Summit View Health Management, Inc., through which he offers a wide range of healthcare services. A seasoned businessman, he has founded more than 10 other companies since establishing Summit View Health Management, Inc. in 1981. Before founding his own company, Mr. Lawrence honed his leadership expertise as a corporate distribution manager for Giant Portland Cement Co. and as an operations planning manager for the South Carolina State Ports Authority.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Lawrence gained valuable expertise in distribution analysis and plant management with Champion International and Continental Grain Co. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in 1964. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge by earning an MBA from The Citadel. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Lawrence is affiliated with the American College of Health Care Administrators, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and the Tennessee Health Care Association.
Alongside his work, Mr. Lawrence has dedicated himself to his community as the assistant governor and club president of the Rotary Club of Farragut and as a board member for the InterFaith Health Center and the Tennessee Walking Horse Foundation, through which he has won seven world championships and the first world grand championship. In light of his professional achievements, he was honored in several editions of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest. While his career has been filled with standout moments, he takes the most pride in growing professionally despite the challenges he has faced.
