Since assuming this role in 2024, she has been responsible for reviewing ticket submissions to identify high-priority items and ensuring thorough documentation to facilitate smooth transitions for her colleagues. Her expertise in human capital management systems, including PeopleSoft HCM, Workday HCM and Oracle HCM, has increased her proficiency in many of her areas of responsibility, such as HR, payroll, benefits, compensation and recruiting.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Naqvi was the manager at Raymond James from 2022 to 2024, where she also served as a lead engineer in 2022. Her tenure at Raymond James began in 2012 as a senior application developer, a role she held for a decade. Before joining Raymond James, she was a senior systems analyst and programmer at Northwestern University from 2000 to 2012. Her early career included roles as a programmer at Anixter from 1998 to 2000, a software engineer at Joint Commission from 1997 to 1998 and a programmer analyst at State Farm Insurance from 1993 to 1997.
Ms. Naqvi’s professional journey is complemented by her entrepreneurial venture as the owner of Baqiyat Business Solution LLC. Her leadership skills have been recognized beyond her work environment, with numerous requests for her guidance on various projects. She is also actively involved in industry-related organizations, such as the Worldwide Women’s Association and serving on the board of directors for the 14 Stars Education Center since 2016.
Academically, Ms. Naqvi holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from DeVry University, earned in 1993, and a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Vanita College, completed in India in 1988 before immigrating to the United States. In addition to her degrees, she pursued further education in data science and artificial intelligence at Innovatic in 2024 and holds a LinkExec-Connectd certification and a Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
Ms. Naqvi owes her success to her education and her strong sense of independence. She has always valued self-reliance and taken proactive steps to remain in control of her life. She also emphasizes the importance of quickly learning from mistakes. Overall, she is most proud of her leadership skills, having led numerous projects outside her work environment and frequently being asked to consult on projects. She also takes pride in her extensive IT skills, which have instilled in her a deep appreciation for the significance of both business users and clients.
Despite the obstacles of balancing personal and professional life, Ms. Naqvi takes great pride in her identity and accomplishments. While she has not been able to take advantage of every professional opportunity presented to her, she finds fulfillment in the other areas of her life, particularly in raising her children single-handedly.
Ms. Naqvi’s commitment to community service is evident through her involvement with civic-minded organizations, particularly in the Muslim community. She has volunteered with the Umoja Outreach Foundation, where she served as program manager in 2020, and at Al Sadiq International Virtual University. Her dedication to volunteer work extends with Imamia Medics, where she managed senior care initiatives for over a decade and contributed significantly to youth programs within the Muslim community.
In her personal life, Ms. Naqvi enjoys helping people and spending time with her family. She plans to retire within the next few years with aspirations of traveling and immersing herself in new cultures. While she finds fulfillment in her career, her passion for supporting others remains paramount as she looks forward to dedicating more time to volunteer work and community service.
