During the early stages of her career, Shaherah gained valuable expertise in the field through clinical research, regulatory, and management roles with University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. After a decade, she transitioned into the medical device space holding various leadership roles with Medtronic, Stryker Corporation, and Smith & Nephew. Shaherah fostered analytical thinking, leadership, and communicative skills through each role that led to her success.
Shaherah’s educational resume is equally impressive. She boasts a Bachelor of Business Administration in organizational leadership from the University of Memphis and an MBA from Bethel University’s College of Professional Studies. Subsequently, she expanded her professional knowledge, earning a Master of Science in biotechnology from the prestigious Morehouse School of Medicine, a project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute, and a clinical researcher certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

While her career has been filled with highlights, Shaherah takes the most pride in launching various medical device products and pharmaceuticals into global markets, particularly her work in Europe. Although hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she attributes her success to her first mentor who introduced her to clinical research.
