SAN CARLOS, CA, December 04, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — StarVista, a nonprofit that delivers high-impact services through counseling, case management, skill development, and crisis prevention to San Mateo County residents, will have it’s Daybreak program featured on The Balancing Act Local Edition on live cable network starting December 15.
This premiere comes just weeks after Daybreak’s securing of a prestigious five-year Transitional Living Program (TLP) grant for $1.25M starting in FY2024, awarded by The Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) program. TLP funding supports long-term residential services for older homeless youth, ages 16 to 22, providing them a safe haven and a fresh start. StarVista has risen above and beyond, becoming one of just 75 grantees nationwide to receive this grant. Even more impressive, StarVista is one of only eight chosen nonprofits in California and the sole Bay Area recipient.
The airtimes are as follows:
Sun 12/15/24 1:30pm – KPYX-INDEPENDENT (Channel 44)
Sun 12/22/24 3:00pm – KRON-MyNetwork (Channel 4)
