OXNARD, CA, January 18, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Thomas Ennis with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Thomas Ennis celebrates many years’ experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on years of professional expertise in sales and marketing, Mr. Ennis excels as the senior vice president of sales and marketing for FotoKem, a motion picture post-production facility that has worked on such films as “The Batman,” starring Robert Pattinson, “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story,” directed by Rian Johnson, the 2022 breakout horror film, “Smile,” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” featuring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. Before joining FotoKem in 2000, Mr. Ennis gained valuable expertise in sales and marketing with Visual Display Innovations, Inc., THE Marketing, and Starcom Television Services.

During the early stages of his career, Mr. Ennis leveraged his expertise as an account executive for Advanced Machine and Engineering Co., vice president of the Design Communications Advertising Agency, and a voiceover actor for several television shows and series, including “Warriors of Heaven and Earth.” Similarly, he served as a faculty member in the Department of Advertising at Michigan State University, where he met an instructor who happened to be the creative director for Leo Burnett during the time of Tony the Tiger and the Jolly Green Giant. This experience and his relationship with the instructor sparked the fire that led to Mr. Ennis’s current role with FotoKem.

An expert in his field, Mr. Ennis earned a Bachelor of Arts in humanities, English, history, and marketing, a bachelor’s degree in advertising, and a Master of Arts in creative advertising management from Michigan State University in 1980, 1983, and 1987, respectively. In conjunction with his professional and educational endeavors, Mr. Ennis has contributed to his community through the Harbor Island Yacht Club, the Scarlet Society, and as a St. Joseph’s Hospital board member.

Although he has fostered a successful career in sales and marketing by meeting and exceeding revenue targets, Mr. Ennis takes the most pride in his audio work. While hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his focus, steadfast work ethic, ability to make quick decisions, and his willingness to adapt to the world around him. He also notes that he would not be where he is today without his great-grandfather, Charles Tasc Ennis, who was Theodore Roosevelt’s campaign manager and served as considerable inspiration, his grandfather, Thomas Edson Ennis, an author, and Kensinger Jones, the former creative director at Leo Burnett. Within the coming years, Mr. Ennis intends to seek out voiceover projects he finds engaging and continue fostering the success of FotoKem in his role as senior vice president of sales and marketing.
