She began her professional journey at one of South Africa’s largest entertainment companies, part of the Gallo Holding Group, where she worked in customer success and sales. During her tenure, the company held distribution licenses for Disney, Warner and Fox in Africa. After five years, she joined the Marcus Evans Group, a United Kingdom-based company where her exceptional performance led to her being asked to set up a new division in the United States. At the age of 29, she became the general manager for North America, making her the only female general manager in the organization at that time out of 30 global offices.

In 2001, Ms. Palmer founded Arzika LLC, serving as its chief executive officer until 2006. She then transitioned to Salesforce Inc., where she held roles as a senior global alliances manager and senior partner marketing manager from 2007 to 2012. Following this, she became the chief growth officer at Billhighway for two years. In 2014, she joined Cisco Systems Inc., initially as the regional manager of NextGen Datacenter for the Midwest Atlantic IOT Manufacturing sector and later as the director of architectures, strategy and operations for the Americas Global Enterprise Segment until 2019.

Ms. Palmer’s career continued to ascend when she was recruited by Rackspace Technology as the vice president of global sales GTM strategy and transformation from 2019 to 2020. She then joined Amazon Web Services as the global service and customer enablement leader in 2020 before moving to VMware by Broadcom. At VMware, she served as the vice president of partner experience, programs investments and compliance from 2020 to 2024. Currently, she holds dual roles as the chief revenue officer at Exostellar and chief executive officer at Corporate Athlete Academy.

In addition to her corporate achievements, Ms. Palmer is deeply involved in civic activities. She has been the president and founder of We Build Character since 2008 and the founder of Midwest Technology Leaders since 2004. She has also served as an executive board member and vice president of events for the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation.

Serving as a foundation for her professional success, Ms. Palmer earned a Bachelor of Commerce in business management and commerce from Damelin in South Africa. She also holds several certifications, including a Genos Emotional Intelligence Certification from Genos International, an executive coach certification, a newscaster certification and a train-the-trainer coaching certificate.

Ms. Palmer’s dedication to mentoring and leadership has earned her numerous accolades throughout her career, including multiple Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service and Women in Business in 2023 and 2024. She attributes much of her professional success to her passion for helping others, strong work ethic and excellent mentors.
