Mr. Angulo has been working as an electromechanical field service technician at the MULTIVAC Group in Chicago since 2021. He is also the owner of Conveyor Innovations and Packaging Corporation, a company he founded in 2020. In these roles, he is actively involved in machine installation and setup, troubleshooting, production support, root cause analysis, and software maintenance connections for optimal efficiency. Mr. Angulo brings deep industry experience to both appointments, including working as a Field Service Specialist for RA Jones in 2021, Maintenance Dispatcher for Security Plastics/National Molding Miami between 2018 and 2020. Rather than staying in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Angulo stepped up and worked on a large-scale US Government project as a VTM (Viral Transport Media) Dispenser Specialist Technician with Thermo Fisher Scientific and the SOCAPS team from 2020 to 2021, due to the strong demand for COVID-19 testing, he worked tirelessly joins the rest of the team to meet the staggering goal of 8 million VTM-filled tubes a week and help millions across the country catch the virus and save lives. To ensure the accuracy of the COVID-19 test results, all of this work was performed in an aseptic environment.

For example, from 2004 to 2017 he worked for Empresas Polar in different sub-divisions of the company such as Pepsi-cola Venezuela SA (beverages), Pomar Industries (winery) and Cerveceria Polar (brewery) in various roles including Mechanical Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Management Coordinator, Specialist for mechanical maintenance, production manager, production coordinator and productivity improvement analyst. Mr. Angulo also has impressive academic credentials, including a Diploma in Reliability and Maintenance Management from INGEMAN, which he graduated in 2012, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad del Zulia, which he earned in 2004.
Certain projects stand out for Mr. Angulo, including his work developing the Broken Case Rejector, a machine that can detect all broken cases in production. As well as a calibration tool for pneumatic bottle conveyors for adjusting multiple guide rails at the same time while maintaining the center of gravity. His expertise and collaborative approach to project research and implementation earned him the recognition of the Chief Executive Officer of the country’s largest food manufacturer in Caracas, Venezuela, which in turn drove the company’s innovation and improvement processes.
Mr. Angulo maintains important industry connections through membership of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers; He also contributes to the community through his involvement with the Boy Scouts of America, where he has been active as a squad leader since 2017.
