Lake Mary All-Stars join News 6 to discuss World Series victory

ORLANDO, Fla. – On Tuesday, the Lake Mary All-Stars joined News 6 to discuss the team’s victory over the weekend at the Little League World Series.

Lake Mary defeated Chinese Taipei 2-1 in extra innings Sunday to claim the World Series title.

At the time, more than 5.4 million people watched the game, which was the most-watched Little League game since 2015.

The team flew home Monday and returned to school on Tuesday, though the players chose to join News 6 during the 6:30 p.m. newscast to discuss their experiences and answer questions from viewers.
