MIAMI, Fla. – The Orlando Magic lost their game to the Miami Heat on Friday night after Jimmy Butler scored 29 points and Bam Adebayo landed another 20, ending the game in a 110-105 loss for the Magic.

Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Cole Anthony all had 19 points for the Magic, while Wendell Carter Jr. added 16 and Markelle Fultz added 10 points. Orlando is 14-10 in their last 24 games after starting the season 5-20.
Sales simply doomed the Magic. They had 20 compared to Miami’s 11 – and the Heat turned Orlando’s freebies into 32 points. Orlando made 13 of Miami’s turnovers.
Strus’ 3-pointer with 3:01 left in the third put Miami 73-69. The rest of the neighborhood was all of Orlando. The Magic closed out the third with a 10-0 run, then scored the first of the fourth to take an 81-73 lead after a dunk by Moritz Wagner.
And then momentum returned straight to Miami. The Heat scored 19 of the next 25 points to go 92-87, setting up another down-to-the-wire finish – the subject of this now-concluded three-game Miami homestand.
