ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Pride remained scoreless in Saturday night’s loss to Gotham FC at Exploria Stadium.
The winless Pride returned home for the first time in two weeks, with both teams playing scoreless for most of the game, but Gotham struck twice in a whopping 18 minutes of added time to claim the win.
Ahead of Saturday’s game, two teams – who are meeting four times this year – held an all-time 7-7-5 record, each with seven all-time wins.

““We were there the whole time. And then you know that a call doesn’t go away and only changes the results. We had a lot of chances to score, but we didn’t take them. This gives Gotham a chance to win the game. So you have to take your chances when they present themselves. But yeah, same old feeling after the game, disappointed with the result, the effort was great, as always, the players are really trying, just want the result to really feel like they’re being rewarded for their effort.” Pride head coach Seb Hines said after the game.
Goaltender Kaylie Collins made her regular season debut in this game.
The Pride plays North Carolina Courage at home in the UKG Challenge Cup at 7pm on Wednesday.
