DAYTONA BEACH. Fla. – Officials announced that they have postponed the NASCAR Xfinity Series race that was scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon.
The action was scheduled to start at 5 p.m., but officials said “due to inclement weather” the race will now happen on Monday at 11 a.m..
“All United Rentals 300 tickets, hospitality passes, and parking passes will be honored on Monday,” a post on social media stated in part.

A busy racing week in Daytona Beach that caps off with the Daytona 500 is facing a weekend of unsettled weather throughout Central Florida. That race is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.
Due to inclement weather, NASCAR today announced that the NASCAR Xfinity Series #UnitedRentals300 at Daytona International Speedway has been postponed to Monday at 11:00 a.m. ET.

A cold front that moved in on Saturday is increasing rain chances for Central Florida. Light showers are expected to begin Saturday morning and persist until late Sunday evening.
According to News 6 meteorologist, intermittent rain is forecasted to continue overnight, with a higher likelihood of heavier rainfall expected as Sunday approaches. Expect unsettled conditions persisting into Sunday afternoon and evening, with the most intense rainfall lingering late into Sunday, particularly along the coast.
The United Rentals 300 will broadcast on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
