ORLANDO, Fla. – Semaj Fleming has quite the senior football season ahead of him at Edgewater High School.
The high-flying wide receiver is coming off over a thousand all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns last season. Fleming has personal goals this year beyond the stats.
“(My goals are) becoming a great leader, being more vocal and leading by example,” Fleming told News 6. “When I see one of my teammates doing bad, picking them up, uplifting them and telling what’s right and what’s wrong.”
And now, Fleming and the Edgewater Eagles have a huge opportunity ahead of them: they’re about to travel to England for a preseason game against the NFL Academy.
“It’s very cool, first time traveling overseas to England,” Fleming said. “(It’ll be) a very good experience.”
