ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A West Orange High School student is headed to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando after being named an “NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid,” thanks to the National Football League.

Tyler Boyd, part of his high school’s unified flag football team, was named one of two NFL PLAY 60 Super Kids.

The NFL teamed up with Special Olympics to make the NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid initiative. NFL PLAY 60 is a youth health and wellness program encouraging young people to be physically active for at least 60 minutes a day.

At the Pro Bowl game, Boyd will participate in “community events and behind-the-scenes opportunities,” and he will be recognized on-field, according to the press release.

Boyd received the news from his favorite player, Kenny Moore II from the Indianapolis Colts, according to a video from Good Morning America.

The Special Olympics is a global movement to end discrimination against people with intellectual disabilities.

The initiative is expanding beyond the Super Bowl to include the Pro Bowl Games for the first time, according to a press release by the NFL.

The Pro Bowl Games will take place at the Camping World Stadium on Feb. 2.
