Amazon Web Services (AWS) has unveiled a new no-code tool that it’s hoped will bring all of your various software-as-a-service products together in one place and provide additional security and management benefits.
The new AppFabric tool resides in the AWS Management Console, where IT and security teams can review a variety of critical information in one place.
At the same time, AWS also revealed some of its generative AI plans for AppFabric, to be released in a future release.

AWS claims that some companies subscribe to more than 100 software packages to provide their employees with the right tools.
Since launch, the company has confirmed that it supports some of the most popular applications, including asana, Drop box, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, RelaxedAnd zoom.
Relying on each app’s different controls, protocols, and interfaces, AWS hopes that AppFabric can bring all of this important information together in one central place and in an easy-to-understand layout.
The company said in a press release, “This framework enables IT and security professionals to more easily analyze data and establish common policies, alerts, and a unified rule set across multiple SaaS applications.”
AWS AppFabric is generally available in the company’s US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo) Regions, with more coming soon.
Meanwhile, AWS continues to work on an Amazon Bedrock-powered generative AI tool that aims to work with a company’s SaaS tools to reduce wasted time switching between apps.
AppFabric is already being tested by Israel’s largest bank, Bank Leumi, along with a handful of other companies. With general availability, AWS hopes more companies can now get involved by consolidating their SaaS applications.
