A recent report states: Windows Latest indicates that the character count for AI prompts has been halved, from 4,000 on Edge to now 2,000 on Chrome. conversations with the chatbot will be significantly shorter, as the third-party version only lets you edit five messages with the AI before resetting everything. The normal amount is 30. Also Bing prompts you to download Edge if you haven’t already Chrome book. If you already have the browser, selecting the download option will simply launch it.
In addition to the rollout Microsoft adds a new dark mode option to the chatbot. The theme defaults to your system settings, but you can change them manually in the Settings menu.
Future updates
It is not known if Bing Chat is enabled safari will be exactly the same. Microsoft has yet to officially announce the patch other than a small announcement, so we can’t say for sure if any tweaks will be made. We also reached out to the tech giant to find out if it has any plans to extend Bing AI access to other browsers fire fox. This story will be updated if we hear anything.
As for the future of AI, it looks like Microsoft is putting everything in the hands of humans. Another Windows Latest report claims the company sent out feedback forms to various users on mobile devices, asking what features they would like to see. Apparently, one of the new changes will be Bing recommending specific AI apps or tools to try.
Another potential upgrade could see the AI mimicking the personas of famous people like billionaire Elon Musk. Microsoft reportedly claims that mimicking humans would result in a “more engaging experience.”
