Considering that it’s a word I probably use every single day, I seem to have a bit of a blind spot around EIGHT. It’s probably because the H and T are reversed from the order in which they usually appear, but whatever the cause I need to be better prepared for when it appears. That was the word that I spent longest thinking about today, although it’s ATTIC that has the repeated letter and OLIVE that contains a less common one. However, I was reasonably lucky with my start words and so solved those two (plus CHORD) with no drama, leaving EIGHT as the only tricky one for me today.
