You’re not imagining it, everything looks different here. We’ve relaunched TechRadar and redesigned everything from the logo and color scheme to our tagline, which we think better reflects our purpose and promise: real tech experts, real experience, and real advice for your very real tech world.
Let’s take a look at what we did and why.
Our new homepage, logo and colors are designed to help you find the advice and information you are looking for faster and more effectively.
We’ve replaced our story-style navigation with navigation centered around product categories. We know you turn to us for advice on which phone to buy, which computer to use for work or home office, which wearable is best for monitoring your health, and which ones Streaming platforms to use (and which shows to watch). Now everything is at the top of our page.
When we’re covering something big, like a major Apple product launch or an Amazon sale event, we don’t make you search for all those exciting and useful stories. You will be the focus of the new TechRadar.
For the explorers among you, you’ll now find easily navigable product categories in an iconic list form, also visible throughout the homepage, where categories like Laptops & Computers, Phones, TVs, Audio, Streaming and more have their own dedicated sections.
We continue to show you all of our latest reviews and buying guides, as well as the latest news, in one easy-to-read column, which also includes a link to a comprehensive news list.
expertise on the side
The new TechRadar is more than just a new design and navigation on desktop and mobile—it’s a new perspective. We are the technology experts. Granted, TechRadar’s 15-year history is packed with technology expertise – if you’ve read our reviews, that was probably obvious – and now we own it.
With the new TechRadar, our team of experts tells the story of the technology, from the moment you hear about an innovation, through your purchase research, to the in-depth review of our evaluation process. We continue the journey with extensive and in-depth guides and analysis on the products and technologies that populate our lives.
We really care about the advice you get from us, which is also shared by TechRadar Ask an experta new way for you to connect with the team about the products you own, the gadgets you will buy, and the tech mysteries you can’t solve.
Our analysts and editors are already living with the technology and sharing their experiences in a personal and relatable way. Now we’ve developed new platforms to help us tell those stories better.
These include recurring features like Homescreen Heroes (the apps we can’t live without), Smart Ideas (unveiling the best of smart home technology) and How to Choose (explaining product categories for buyers). The $20 Challenge tests whether affordable products deliver on their promises, while ICYMI gives you the weekly briefing you need to keep up with the latest technology news.
Whatever your tech quest or journey, the new TechRadar is by your side and guides you.
We hope you enjoy the new TechRadar you’re discovering today, but know that we’re not done yet. TechRadar will continue to evolve and grow with new franchises, content types, and visibility across all your screens and favorite platforms.
It’s a new era for technology and expertise, brought to you by real people who live and love it. Welcome to the new TechRadar. Try it and let us know what you think.
