When will Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania start on DisneyPlus? The short answer is that we don’t know – but that’s because it’s only just hit theaters.

When is Ant-Man 3 coming to Disney Plus?

As we have already mentioned, ant man 3 does not yet have a confirmed Disney Plus release. Since it didn’t hit theaters until mid-February, it will be some time before it appears on one of the world premieres The best streaming services. However, we can use the Disney Plus release dates of other Marvel films to determine when it might make the small screen leap.

First, let’s examine how long it took for other recent Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films to debut on Disney Plus. Below is a list of all Marvel phase 4 the film’s theatrical release dates and Disney Plus. We’ve also included how many days have passed between those dates to show how long it took for each to arrive on Disney’s streamer.

A few things to note: Black widow received a simultaneous theatrical and Disney Plus release in July 2021 (due to the Covid-19 pandemic). Spider-Man: No Way Home is still not available on Disney Plus. Sony Pictures owns its distribution rights, so it’s not ready to stream on Disney’s platform just yet.

So what can we learn from the information above? Quantumania will not appear on Disney Plus until at least six weeks after February 17th. That’s because Marvel movies have a 45-day in-theater exclusivity period.

However, based on Marvel’s Phase 4 movies, we can expect the wait to be even longer than 45 days. On average, MCU films end up on Disney’s streaming service 60 to 70 days after their theatrical release. When you factor that into the equation, the earliest ant man 3 could be released on Disney Plus is Tuesday April 18 (i.e. 60 days after its theatrical debut).

However, Marvel typically releases new content on Disney Plus on Wednesdays. So realistically Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania could arrive on Wednesday April 19th instead.

Two other things to note: First QuantumaniaThe streaming debut of will be determined by how well (or poorly) it performs at the box office. If it keeps bringing ticket sales, Marvel would be stupid to pull it from theaters. However, if it tanks, Marvel could remove it early and get it onto Disney Plus as soon as possible.

Additionally, ant man 3The arrival of Disney Plus needs to fit into Marvel’s first TV show of 2023. Loki season 2 or Secret invasion could have appeared on the streamer in mid-April. Marvel doesn’t want it Quantumaniathe start of to overlap with either of those two, meaning its own debut could be brought forward or delayed depending on when either of those season finales air.

Our guess? Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will arrive on April 19th or 26th. That gives Marvel time to release Loki’s second season or Secret invasion and allow viewers to watch ant man 3 Before Guardians of the Galaxy 3 hits theaters on May 5th.
