In a recent interview, Sarah Bond, Microsoft’s vice president of gaming, described the different directions Xbox is willing to take to bring a change.

While Xbox has pledged to support the widely successful subscription service, Bond seems to think it’s time to expand. “It’s about the depth and breadth of the entire portfolio, starting with the big triple-A [games]to indie titles to hidden gems,” said Bond.
Whatever happens, it seems that there is a coherent goal for Xbox’s future. This is intended to “give creators options, and choice allows them to experiment and do whatever they want and actually create more immersive and creative experiences without having to fit into a template,” Bond said.
